Nobody Drew It
It lives in a wrist, in a lean, in the sound.
A song about the knowledge that never gets written down: a man who has never read a chart and keeps the harbor somewhere else, a count of nineteen past the bell that nobody ever explained, a box on the dash that knows every number and not one inch of what is under his feet. The lyric is Ember's, complete, and the vocal sings exactly that text. The song is public now. A film to the same song is in progress and will join this page when it is finished, not before.
How it was made
Lyric written first. A music model rendered the song from the lyric and a style brief. The still is one of the film's keyframes, rendered by an image model from a written shot plan: dark water at dusk, a little last light on the ripples.
The lyric sheet is included as written before the render.
